and Ordering Help
About Us - Health-E-Teas is a
fully automated website for customers wishing to use the Internet to purchase
teas, herbs and accessories. We do not provide a telephone ordering service.
We are committed to being responsive to customer requirements. If you
have any comments or suggestions please e-mail us at info@health-e-teas.com.
Enquiries will be answered when possible within 48 hours.
Price list - Current prices are
available only online. We do not publish a paper-copy of the pricing.
Please check individual products or sections for guidance on pricing.
Complaints - We endeavour to respond to all complaints within five
working days. We aim to resolve all customer complaints within 14 days.
You will always be kept informed by email or by telephone until the complaint
is resolved.
Making A Purchase - We accept all major credit and debit cards
including Visa and Mastercard, Switch, Solo and Delta. Your payments are
processed by Barclays epdq secure server. Prices are valid as of October 2005,
please check here regularly for any changes to price. Cheques made payable
to "Health-E-Teas" can also be used, but please be aware you must allow 7-10
working days for cheques to clear. Goods cannot be despatched before goods
are paid for in full.
Shipping And Handling- Health-E-Teas deliver to the UK, Europe, and on
request Internationally. Please note: All prices for delivery are automatically
calculated and added to the total at the 'checkout'. Delivery takes place by use of the British Royal Mail service provider and takes place withing 3-5 working days of the product being available in stock. For USA and Canada orders are shipped using regular post and can take
a little longer i.e. 7-10 days. For full details of all prices, delivery
options, zones and a current list of countries please see the Delivery

Here. Available countries can be seen when an account is opened and
the country field is chosen when completing the online form.
Delivery Schedule - We aim to
process orders within a maximum of two working days of receiving your
order. Delivery times will depend upon destination, but on average a lead
time between 10-14 working days is quoted for UK Standard Delivery and
Courier delivery is worldwide within 3-7 days based on goods being in
stock. The week is considered Mon-Fri and does not include weekends. You
will receive an email after payment with confirmation of your order number.
Another email will be sent once your is order is despatched. In the unlikely
event that an item is out of stock a lead time of 7-10 days can be expected.
Please allow a maximum of 28
days for delivery, especially with medicinal teas, single herbs, roots
and plants.
Accounts - Within the new site
Customer Accounts can now be created. You can now setup multiple addresses,
send product info to friends via your wish list, view your orders, and
track your delivery. We hope you find this of benefit, as typing your
address more than once online can be annoying! There
are five basic account types:
Standard> No Account is required,
prices displayed are current prices.
New Account> Your account will
be setup and next time you order all your address details and past order
details will be available in the account login area. To open an account
you will need a valid email address, which is used as your username and
a password that is over 8 characters in length.
Wholesale & Retail> Customers
who wish to spend over £150 should contact Support using the contact form
or emailing wholesale@health-e-teas.com.
You will be contacted by a sales representative to discuss the terms and
conditions. Accounts are at the sole discretion of the owners and can
be terminated at anytime.
Tax Charges - At present the
only products that attract VAT are the product licensed Medicinal Teas
which are charged at the standard rate of 17.5%. All accessories are also
charged at this rate. All other products are zero rated for UK Value Added
Tax (VAT). In accordance with UK VAT law, tax will be added to all EEC
state countries orders. If you are a wholesale business and wish to apply
for tax exemption, please send details of your tax number together with
your company stationery, once your tax number is approved, tax will be
omitted from your invoice. All customers outside of the EEC are not required
to pay UK VAT. Your invoice is sent with your order. Wholesale businesses
who require a pro-forma invoice please state this in the comments section
at the checkout and we will send this by email. You can check your order
by logging onto your account "Order History".
Credit Card Security - Credit
and debit card details are 128 bit encrypted by WorldPay, approved by
leading UK, European and Worldwide banks. All card transactions are processed
by Barclays epdq. Steve Stokes is responsible for all security
issues on this site.
Guarantee/Refunds - Should you not be happy with your purchase
we will be happy to reimburse your money. A refund will always be made
within a maximum of 30 days from cancellation. For a wrongly chosen product
item a packet must be returned in its unopened state - a deduction from
your refund will be made for restocking, this is typically 50% of the cost of the tea. Postage will not be refunded unless, in the unlikely event of wrong dispatch
we will, reimburse the whole cost and postal return costs.
Cancellation - You the consumer have the right to cancel your order
without giving a reason. The cancellation period in the case of contracts
for the supply of goods begins with the day on which the contract is concluded.
The cancellation period ends after the 7th working day, beginning on the
day after the day on which the consumer receives the goods. Should you
wish to cancel your order please follow the steps above. These terms do
not affect your statutory rights. Any complaint
